We are excited to announce that the upcoming Shama Berman Memorial Lecture will take place at Ramath Orah on September 11. The lecture will be given by Rabbi Joseph Telushkin and will discuss the topic of 'The Lubavitcher Rebbe on the Overlooked Mitzvah: The Continuing Jewish Mission to the World.' The lecture has been generously sponsored, but pre-registration is suggested. Light refreshments will be served.

About the Shama Berman Memorial Lecture Series: 
Presented biannually, the Shama Berman Memorial Lecture Series features lectures by distinguished Jewish scholars from around the world concerning the spiritual and ethical challenges facing world Jewry in the 21st Century. The series honors the memory of Shama Berman Z"L, (1975-2020), beloved son, husband, father, brother and friend, who devoted himself wholeheartedly to the welfare of his family, of the State of Israel and of the communities of which he was a part. In his work and as a Hatzalah volunteer, he saved and supported the lives of many people. He enriched the lives of many through his wisdom and insight and sense of humor.
