In honor of our upcoming Scholars-in-Residence, Yair Agmon and Oriya Mevorach, Congregation Ramath Orah is proud to offer their acclaimed book for purchase, One Day in October: Forty Heroes, Forty Stories — a moving collection of real accounts that illuminate courage, hope, and the strength of the human spirit.

Yair Agmon is an Israeli author, screenwriter, and playwright whose writing explores the intersections of faith, storytelling, and modern life.

Oriya Mevorach is a teacher of Gemara, Chassidut, and philosophy, as well as a Yoetzet Halacha and author of Ma At Mevakeshet (“What Are You Asking For?”).
