challenges our ancestors could never have imagined. This class explores how classic sources and modern poskim guide us through keeping Shabbat in a bustling metropolis. Each session will take up a contemporary case study — public transportation, urban infrastructure, technology, and more — asking how halacha adapts to life in motion without losing its timelessness.
