All levels provide the option to pay all at once or in installments. (Choose this option on the payment page)

Patron Membership: Participate in our all-inclusive premium option to show your support of CRO - includes a family membership and all additional line items and CRO's share of Upper West Side Community Sponsorship.
Full Membership Rates: standard for Families, Individuals, and Students.
Young Professional Rates: For those under 30 years old for their first two years of shul membership.
Associate Membership Rates: For those who live outside of Manhattan OR for those who are a primary member of another synagogue but also wish to support the Ramath Orah community.
Affordability Arrangement: If you would like to discuss paying at an alternate rate to the ones listed below, please select "alternative rate" and you will be contacted about paying an alternative rate.

Building/Elevator Fund: You may bill your account now and make separate payment arrangements with the office.

In addition to your membership support, which funds our day-to-day operations, we're in the midst of a number of major building improvements that will make our infrastructure more accessible, secure, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.

In our continued effort to make our building more accessible to all, we are raising funds in 2026 to install an elevator as well as a permanent accessible ramp on the building exterior. The elevator project will be our largest capital improvement to date and we are hoping for 100% participation. We are excited to make our facilities available to everyone!

Other upcoming building improvements include upgrades to our security infrastructure and aesthetic improvements, as well as general maintenance and upkeep that are required for a 100+ year old building. You may contribute as part of your membership or contact us for further details.

Affordable Payment Request. (Please submit your request for modified payment, keeping in mind that all payments can be paid in installments or paid at a later date.)

Ramath Orah depends on membership dues to support our daily operating expenses. We value all contributions, and your request for modification of the membership rate will be accommodated. All communications about reduced payments will be kept confidential.

Security - Expenses include a paid security guard and security upgrades to our facility. These necessities constitute an increasing portion of our budget.

Upper West Side Community Fund: Eruv, Mikvah, and Yoetzet Halacha
Along with other local shuls, CRO contributes financially towards these critical community-run endeavors. Please play a part by making sure they can continue to serve us.

Eruv: Enhances our observance and enjoyment of Shabbat and requires substantial maintenance.
The West Side Mikvah: An important community institution for observance of both Taharat Mishpacha and tevilat keilim.
Manhattan Yoetzet Halacha Initiative: Our community is served by Ellin Mitchell Cooper to provide counseling and halachic guidance to women in matters of Taharat Mishpacha, intimacy, and women's health
